‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers here and we’re ready to keep things rolling with some fun spoilery goodies to share.

It looks like they’re planning on protecting Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) once again.

Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Michael Baldwin (Michael LaBlanc) will accept they’re bought and paid for. They’ll also try to plot how to stop and protect Victor.

This will entail their stealing the AI and framing Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) for the attacks.

Victor will pout and once again never taste his own medicine or grow. That would violate the show’s code.

Speaking of Cane, there’s a mini race as Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will ask him for proof Victor stole the AI.

It’ll be hard to get, but Cane will probably try. Anything to avoid relying on Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).

At least that’s one lesson everyone learned.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Wednesday, January 7: Good little servants

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers aren’t surprised Nikki and Michael folded. Even better is how they think Victor actually respects them.

To save Victor from any consequences or from corrupting his soul beyond pitch black, they’ll corrupt their own.

They’ll plan to steal the AI and frame Cane for it.

This has us curious since the AI is illegal. They could set Cane up as using it to destroy his own company to look innocent.

Victor will be upset he can’t destroy everyone and Nikki and Michael can feel like good little servants.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Wednesday, January 7: Cane could be the hero

Jack’s idea isn’t a bad one and we’re surprised Cane hasn’t thought of it before. Of course, it doesn’t include Phyllis, but that could change.

Cane may need her to admit she stole it again. She won’t give up the intel willingly, but maybe this time he’ll record their conversation.

Not that she’d fall for it. Instead, he could relay on his tech team if they’re still employed.

This would be an interesting counter to Nikki and Michael’s plan. It literally has Cane’s future in the balance, and we don’t see the show wiping him off the board already.

Will Cane be the hero of victim of Victor’s protection? Let us know in the comments below.
