‘General Hospital’ Spoilers are grateful the story over the Quartermaine mansion heist is over. Unfortunately, it’s going to shift into teaching Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) humility.
Why is that unfortunate? Because she’s totally justified in kicking the whole lot of traitors out of her house.
And it’s all thanks to Olivia.
Let’s grab some snacks and settle in; this is going to be a fun ride.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: No one stood by Tracy
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers are the first ones to admit that Tracy is more than a handful. She’s opinionated, aggressive, and doesn’t take stuff off anyone.
If she sees an issue, she attacks. And if the person stands up to her, she respects them and a friendship is formed.
When she came across Veronica Bard (Erika Sleziak) in the Quartermaine crypt, Ronnie backed down. It’s understandable since Tracy is a force of nature.
But if she stood her ground, Tracy would’ve respected her and been more open to listening.
Of course, had Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) told ANYONE she had a sister, this whole thing would been avoided. Looking squarely at the writers on this one.
Because Ronnie was taken aback and kind, Tracy smelled something was up and she didn’t let go.
She pushed hard, too hard at times, and it resulted in Ronnie kicking her out of the house. It wasn’t the first time Tracy was kicked out, but it won’t be the last.
But no one stood by Tracy. But it’s not Ronnie kicking her out where we draw the line. It’s when Olivia told her she wasn’t’ welcome at the Metro Court.
That was cruel and unnecessary, yet not a single person spoke up against Olivia channeling the Quartermaine family way.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: The Quartermaine way goes both ways
So, fast forward a few episodes and Tracy is the owner of the mansion and she wanted to kick Ronnie out.
To be honest, we think Ronnie redeemed herself, but we get Tracy’s reasoning.
The family then stood by Ronnie to a person citing a need to change the Quartermaine way.
The same group that stood by when Tracy was kicked out and Olivia went psycho witch on her now wants to change the Quartermaine way.
There’s nothing wrong with defending Ronnie, had they been consistent and stood by Tracy with Olivia.
They weren’t, and now it’ll be up to Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) to teach Tracy humility and the power of family. Something she knows, but will be swayed.
And we doubt anyone will bother apologizing for their desire to use the Quartermaine way when it served their purpose.
It’s funny, cause when people are losing at something they always want to change the rules and they don’t have Monica to bail them out.
