Days of Our Lives spoilers for Thursday, August 28: Disaster ahead
First Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate Gabi’s dreams are quickly dying. Steve Johnson (Steven Nichols) cut her loose, so she’s back to the drawing board when it comes to getting the dirt on Titan-DiMera’s secrets. So, she decides to handle things herself. We already know where this is likely to lead. There’s always disaster ready to strike when Gabi schemes. After all, how many revenge plans have blown up in her face so far? But Gabi is always persistent. That’s why she’s likely to keep working Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) as much as possible. And taking advantage of any in with Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) in order to get the goods to make herself CEO of a reclaimed DiMera. If she can’t get either one to slip, she’ll likely manipulate alone time to snoop in their offices. Again, how could any of this possibly go wrong for her?

In other news, Xander listens as Alex tries to persuade him on some advice. There are a couple of possibilities. One, he could urge her to keep Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) on the payroll and be prepared to use her advice, if needed. But there is a more likely possibility after Alex’s conversations with both Stephanie and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey). We think he is going to continue to encourage Xander to follow through with that anger management therapy and do everything he can to support Xander’s efforts.

Finally, Days of Our Lives spoilers say the bond between Belle and Philip strengthens. This is another thing that can lead nowhere good. Honestly, we think Belle needs a bit of help herself to re-evaluate her romantic choices. Most woman would think twice before getting involved with someone who was not only with their sister, but violated said sister, as with EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel).
With Philip, she knows he purposefully reached out to her to defend him in the Titan court case, all along knowing it was a fraud. That does not speak well for Philip’s integrity. Nor his ability to do right by people he cares about. Philip is another one who makes bad choices, and we still marvel that he actually has Kate DiMera’s (Lauren Koslow) DNA.
