‘Beyond the Gates’ (BTG) spoilers propose that Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman) and Ashley Morgan (Jen Jacob) are an absolute non-starter.
We knew once Ashley officially broke up with her dull-as-dishwater boyfriend, Derek Baldwin (Ben Gavin), that she would go after Andre.
Beyond The Gates Spoilers: We’ve Had To Endure Andre And Ashley’s Pitiful Scenes Together
We’ve had to endure their date night scenes and their phony “romantic” Parisian night in the city of love, which happened to be on the 100th episode.
We’re fed up with BTG’s endless attempts to promote this couple, who no one is rooting for. Andre and Ashley have nothing in common, and worse, they have zero chemistry.
With a beautiful, fiery woman like Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) around, why on earth would Andre give Ashley the time of day?
Since Ashley and Derek broke up, Ashley has been desperately pursuing Andre. She even asked Andre out shortly after she and Derek broke up, which is a clear sign of a rebound.
Andre and Ashley’s scenes together are also awkward and cringey. It’s perplexing to us why the soap insists on shoving this pair down our throats.
Meanwhile, Andre and Dani’s chemistry is off the charts. Their steamy relationship is sexy and fun to watch. The way they support and lean on each other in times of trouble is sweet.
Andre also helped Dani when she was bordering on alcoholism. He saw her through some of her darkest hours after Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett) married Hayley Lawson Hamilton (Marquita Goings).
Some people in Dani’s family aren’t so jazzed about Dani and Andre being an item. Nicole Dupree Richardson (Daphnee Duplaix) gave Dani a face over it.
Despite them being in a close family circle, Dani and Andre are not related by blood. All the heat they have taken for their “situationship” isn’t really warranted.
Beyond The Gates Spoilers: Andre And Dani Sizzle Together
We loved the scene in which Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) asked Andre what his intentions were with his daughter, Dani.
As far as Andre and Ashley are concerned, they aren’t resonating with the viewers. They don’t exactly have too many fans. No amount of airtime will make up for their stunning lack of chemistry.
It’s disturbing that BTG continues to find reasons to put them together. Most fans are complaining that they fast-forward through their scenes. However, Dani and Andre are pure fire.
Also, Andre always has to pump up Ashley’s self-esteem due to her massive insecurities. In the August 5th episode of BTG, we almost lost our lunch when Ashley was talking to her mom about Andre.
She’s dreaming if she thinks Andre and she would sizzle together. We genuinely love Dani and Andre together, and we can’t imagine that in the end, he would choose Ashley over her.
In the same episode, we saw Dani state all the reasons why Andre and Ashley wouldn’t work as a couple. Everything she said was the truth.
Andre needs a woman who excites him and makes his heart skip a beat. That woman is most definitely Dani. These two literally define the word sizzle.
We really hope that Dani decides to pony up to her true feelings about Andre and opts to go public with their relationship before Andre and Ashley get too close.
