‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Stefano Has Been Brought Back From The Dead Several Times
The Days summer preview showed an image of a cryogenic chamber, and we heard Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) say, “It’s almost time, Father.”
In the world of Salem, cryogenic chambers are used to preserve bodies that have been declared medically dead, but there is hope for a future revival.
Stefano’s return is not out of the realm of possibility. DOOL is a soap, and it’s no ordinary daytime drama.
Not to mention, Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay) is no ordinary doctor. He works for the DiMera family and is known for facilitating multiple resurrections.
Stefano has been brought back from the dead several times. We all know there is nothing Dr. Rolf wouldn’t do for Stefano. Sadly, Joe Mascolo passed away in December 2016.
However, there is chatter that a new Stefano may soon resurface. We have to wonder if the show would really “go there.”
Many fans might find a Stefano recast disrespectful to the deceased actor. That said, Days is known to take chances.
Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) has been reading that Arabian Knights book to Rachel Black (Alice Halsey). Stefano used that book for mind control in the past.
Plus, Marlena is having those strange dreams about being Stefano’s “The Queen of the Night.” Recently, there has also been much chatter about Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash).
No one has heard from Stefan since Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) shipped him off to Alemania. Perhaps Stefan is in a secret lab somewhere, and he’s becoming his father.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Susan Sensed Darkness In Marlena
EJ DiMera (Dan Feurriegel) and Susan Banks (Stacey Haiduk) have also made several mentions of that portrait of Stefano that hangs in the DiMera mansion.
Remember when Susan and Marlena embraced after she offered her condolences for John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn) tragic death?
She sensed darkness in Marlena. It’s likely the same darkness that’s triggering her dreams. Marlena definitely hasn’t been herself lately. We think her darkness involves a supernatural dilemma.
EJ and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) are skeptical of Susan’s supernatural powers, but she’s predicted numerous bizarre occurrences, and her premonitions always prove correct. The brothers may not want to ignore Susan’s warnings.
Interestingly, Tony never felt compelled to run the DiMeras’ family company. However, he’s suddenly hiring Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) to play dirty and work her considerable charms and entrap Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) and Phillip Kiriakis (John Paul Lavoisier).
Her mission is to help Tony reclaim DiMera by any means necessary. There is also a wild fan theory that Tony is really Andre DiMera (Thaao Penghlis).
Even though Andre is supposed to be dead, it’s laughable to think Days wouldn’t bring him back to do Stefano’s bidding.
Amusingly, a couple of months ago, EJ mentioned that “there was nothing more important to his father than eternal life.”
And that’s 100 percent the truth. We can definitely see Tony and Dr. Rolf planning to make sure the Phoenix rises from the ashes yet again. We have a sneaking suspicion that Stefano’s most shocking resurrection is yet to come.
