Days of Our Lives spoilers for Tuesday, July 29 reveal Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) returns to court. Meanwhile, Kate DiMera (Lauren Koslow) and Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) catch up. Plus, Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) has some fun ahead. Here’s what you need to know.
Days of Our Lives spoilers for Tuesday, July 29: On trial
First, Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate it’s getting real. After a delay because of Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) collapse, Johnny’s trial finally starts to roll. Which means EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) and Belle Black (Martha Madison) face off. We assume this means they’ll be doing opening arguments, which should be interesting. After all, the one prosecuting the case isn’t even sure the defendant is guilty. We’ll see if they actually get around to questioning any witnesses, or if that will be for another day.
Days of Our Lives spoilers for Tuesday, July 29: Catching up
Elsewhere, Philip and Kate fill each other in on the latest events in their lives. There is more than enough for them to talk about, too! Kate now works at Titan and she’s dealing with the whole trial situation. And likely still worrying about Philip.
Meanwhile, Philip’s truce with Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) is looking more tenuous by the day. So, we’re sure she’ll hear all about the drama around that video they filmed and the fights the brothers have had. Which should make Kate even more worried about Philip’s safety. Of course, neither one of them knows yet that Philip is getting investigated by Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols). That should be fun when/if they find out about it.

Days of Our Lives spoilers for Tuesday, July 29: Friendly jest?
Finally, Days of Our Lives spoilers could reveal a lighter side to the episode. It seems Stephanie gets a hard time thanks to Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu). We imagine this is about Stephanie’s pending book release, as Jada is one of the few that knows who actually wrote One Stormy Night. Who knows? Maybe Jada managed to read some more of the book and has some commentary.
Of course, she could also find out that Stephanie’s own mother read the book as well. Which is something that Stephanie obviously doesn’t see a bit of humor in. But to someone who isn’t Stephanie? Well, that has to be hilarious and worth a shot. We’d likely be tempted ourselves if we were Jada. It’s always funny when something embarrassing happens to someone else.
