The episode for Tuesday, July 22 is going to be a fun one as we’re going to get the aftermath of some security procedures.
We think Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will regret going with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) when he’s locked away.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, July 22: Nick Tries to Keep Sharon from Panicking from Being Held; Nikki and Victor attack Cane for Holding their Son; Michael Thinks Cane Knows a Secret about Chancellor
She’s still dealing with being held captive recently, and Nick will try to keep her calm.
As expected, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will go after Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) for defending himself.
We expect plenty of saber rattling from Victor in the coming days, but we doubt anything will change anytime soon.
Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) will stay level headed.
This will be helpful as Michael will postulate that Cane knows something about Chancellor and that’s why he wants the company.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Tuesday, July 22: Cane’s caught in the middle
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers aren’t surprised that Cane is making a few enemies. Everyone thinks he murdered Damian King (Jermaine Rivers) and set Nick up.
So, Victor and Nikki will go looking for him and rip into him about what he’s doing. We have a feeling it’s not so much what’s happening that concerns Victor, but that he’s powerless.
That will carry over to Nick and Sharon when they’re locked away until Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) or the police solve the case.
Sharon will start hyperventilating as he anxiety flares up after being confined not so long ago.
Nick will try to comfort her, but it’ll be an uphill battle.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Tuesday, July 22: Michael figures things out
It’s a good thing Michael is there, as he’ll keep a level head and have so ideas on why Cane’s doing what he’s doing.
He’ll wonder if Cane didn’t learn a secret about Chancellor from Jill Valentine (Jess Walton) or his father.
That could explain why he’s so intent to get Chancellor back. It’s just a theory, but Michael is good at finding things no one should know.
If he’s right, it could be the thing they can use to stop Cane before he buys up the entire business sector.
Since everything Cane is doing is centered on winning Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), it wouldn’t surprise us if he’s pulling no stops in acquiring everything as a gift to her.
