Days of Our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, June 25: Work to do
First, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal Philip and Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) reached an understanding. This led to Philip denying Xander beat him. Obviously, Kate DiMera (Lauren Koslow) didn’t believe him, and it’s not ending there. Now, someone else is questioning Philip’s story. That would be Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein), who has a lot of questions for her former love. Like Kate, she knows full well how much motive Xander would have for that attack. She’ll think he’s lying, too, and won’t let up. We’ll see if she gets him to weaken, although we doubt it.
As for Xander, he and Philip have other issues to deal with. Namely, trying to salvage Titan-DiMera. The stocks haven’t been doing well, and we imagine it’s all about the bad press of Xander getting arrested for assaulting the co-CEO. We wonder if they’re planning a press conference to do damage control. Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) did that on General Hospital just recently, so it’s definitely a possibility. We just don’t see the Titan-DiMera one being as… entertaining.

Elsewhere, Johnny is cornered and questioned by Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). Obviously, they’re going to be worried about what Rachel Black (Alice Halsey) said about him shooting EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel). They’ll want to make sure this is for real, and not some misunderstanding on Rachel’s part.
Of course, we think Marlena already knows the answer to that. After all, why else would Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) want Rachel to keep such a thing secret? We’re still not sure Johnny actually did it, despite what it looks like. But we guess they’re getting us closer to finding out.

Finally, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal Sophia takes charge. Teasers say she reaches out to Melinda Trask (Tina Huang). We already mentioned in the weekly that we think she’s feeling the pressure to get adoptive parents lined up. After all, they had that false alarm at graduation. However, there may be more here.
Last time, we saw Shane Donovan (Charles Shaughnessy) question Tate Black (Leo Howard) about whether he was having second thoughts. And he definitely does seem to be bonding with that baby, despite it not being born yet. Sophia could find this out and be in a rush to seal the deal, so to speak, before Tate does actually change his mind.
