Days of Our Lives spoilers for Monday, June 16: Anniversary
First, Days of Our Lives spoilers mark a milestone. Steve spends most of the episode reminiscing as he looks back on 40 years in Salem. As usual, we’re here for the old clips, as we get a taste of a past we missed seeing. This, of course, will be at least partially at a dinner celebration with Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein).
Days of Our Lives spoilers for Monday, June 16: Trouble brewing
Elsewhere, we sense a massive obstacle ahead for Stephanie and Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson). The teasers say Stephanie will notice Alex is anxious and will do her best to ease his anxiety. Now, this could be because of a dinner with the parents, sure. But we also can’t help wonder if her manuscript is going to come into play. Kate DiMera (Lauren Koslow) admitted to misplacing it, and we have already seen several characters get their hands on it. Most recently, Kayla. So, he could also be worried about breaking the news that the manuscript is lost.
If Stephanie finds out that it made its way to her mother, she’ll likely freak out on an epic level. We’re here for that! Sure, no one wants to actually experience an obviously embarrassing situation like that, but it’s fun to watch characters deal with something like this. We’ll see if she does find out and, if that’s the case, she can forgive Alex.
Days of Our Lives spoilers for Monday, June 16: Hello, there!
Finally, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal good timing. Last we saw, Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) entered Philip Kiriakis’ (John-Paul Lavoisier) room with a clear mission. However, Philip will wake up just in time to see this. We assume this will lead to some quick thinking and deals, given what is ahead for the weekly.

As for this whole situation, though, we can’t. Kayla specifically stated earlier in the same episode that the room was under surveillance. Now, we know security is not a huge concern in Salem, but we can’t at them specifically saying there was security then contradicting that shortly after. After all, if there was someone on duty, would the lead suspect in Philip’s brutal beating be in that room period, let alone without supervision? Come on, writers. Let’s tighten things up.
