The episode for Friday, May 23 looks like it’s going to be an interesting one as we’ll end the week on a positive note.
It looks like Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) will snap out of her self pity party she’s been throwing.

She may give up on Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) for now and let fate bring him back to her. But there could be another reason for that.
It looks like Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) will propose to Hope Logan (Annika Noelle).
This would be happy news to Brooke as she’ll envision a beautiful wedding. Plus, it’ll give her a chance to remind Ridge they belong together. Again.
Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) won’t be too happy about it. She’s fully into Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood)’s mindset of Hope manipulating him.
After all, who would turn her down? She’s the mistress of alluring, mind altering fragrances?
She has not yet begun to fight!

‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers love it when there’s a wedding in the air. We get to see exotic locations and some intrigue as someone tries to stop it.
In this case. It looks like we’re going to get a surprise move when Carter proposed to Hope. He’ll want to prove to her he’ll always be with her as her rock.
This is a great way, but there will be a downside. He’s shown to follow in Ridge’s brotherly footsteps by waffling before, and there’s no reason to think he’s cured.
Hopefully, he’ll prove us wrong, but we expect plenty of temptation to come his way.
‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers for Friday, May 23: Daphne’s furious
The good thing about the engagement announcement is it could be what pulls Brooke from her self pity party.
She’ll love her daughter re-finding her love with Carter and that they’re going to get married. It’ll give her plenty of chances to shine as the mother of the bride.
She’ll also be able to find ways to show Ridge how special those days are and rekindle some more memories.
She’s shown she’ll betray Hope for her Destiny, so using her moment to win him over isn’t out of the question.
While Brooke is ecstatic, Daphne will be furious. She not only lost Carter to his would be manipulator, but he left her effortlessly.
Despite her fragrances, her allure, and her gentle persuasion, she lost. But will she give up or make things as complicated as possible?
