As a matter of fact, ‘Young and the Restless’ head writer Josh Griffith teases that while Nick will certainly give Sharon the support that she needs during her cancer crisis, don’t expect these two to get back together again. CBS ‘Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Nick Won’t Be A Part Of Sharon’s Future After All
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in an interview, Josh Griffith puts it this way, “Nick’s natural instinct is to step in whenever Sharon is in trouble. However, Nick will do his best to respect Sharon’s relationship with Rey and not overstep any boundaries.”
With that said though, it appears as though Sharon will have Nick more on her mind than her boyfriend, Rey. But for Nick, he doesn’t feel the same way. While he certainly loves Sharon, he mostly loves her because she is the mother of his child, not because he wants to romance her. How will Sharon feel about this? Of course, ‘Young and the Restless’ fans will have to tune in to find out!
