What a difference a year makes. Last year at this time, Kate Middleton was engulfed in an editing row, which sent the public reeling.

Kate Was Unfoundedly Attacked About Her Last Mother’s Day Photo

Poor Kate had to contend with swipes at her Mother’s Day picture, making shocking and unfounded claims that the picture either wasn’t real or hadn’t really been taken when Kate said it was.

Media outlets issued “kill notices” on the photo and refused to show it. Some even suggested that the royals couldn’t be trusted anymore.

Kate Middleton has always had a love for photography and likes to play around with editing. She routinely takes her own snaps of her children on their birthdays and other special occasions.

Last Mother’s Day, she was trying to share an uplifting photo, and she understandably thought people would respond more favorably.

When people found out Kate had been suffering from cancer, they were suddenly apologetic and remorseful over their attacks.

The incident was a testament to how cruel those who bully people on social media can be. Kate took it in stride and didn’t let the snide comments break her enduring spirit.

Thankfully, this Mother’s Day is a much happier one for the Princess of Wales. She’s now cancer-free and is healthy and thriving.

These days, her health and family take precedence over everything else. Kate shared a moving video this morning to celebrate Mother’s Day and the “power of nature.”

Princess Catherine only briefly appears in the video as she gently touches the bark of a tree, but she keeps herself primarily hidden throughout the clip.

Kate Reminds Us What Is Truly Important In Life

    Kate’s Mother’s Day message:

“Over the past year, nature has been our sanctuary. This Mother’s Day, let us celebrate Mother Nature and recognize how our bond with the natural world can help not only nurture our inner selves but remind us, too, of the role we play within the rich tapestry of life. C.”

Various natural surroundings featured in the video included beaches, oceans, fields, and woodlands. Kate Middleton shows us how spending time outdoors and in nature can heal us in all ways. These ways can include physical, emotional, and spiritual.

The video Princess Kate shared this year was not unlike the one she released when she told the world she was cancer-free.

Kate is consistent with themes about family and nature, often combining the two for an inspired result. She reminds us of what is truly paramount in life.

Kate shared how the natural world has given her comfort, especially when it came to getting through a very difficult year.

Her deep appreciation for nature includes learning how to protect it. Kate is a patron of the Natural History Museum. She admires the museum’s commitment to providing natural spaces that help people feel close to nature.

The Natural History Museum opened a green space to support nature, scientific research, and education. She hoped the garden brought people peace. Kate has also said in the past that “nature brings us joy.”

Kate’s message highlights her new approach to her royal duties. The Princess of Wales is returning as a working royal at a slow, measured pace, always prioritizing her family and peace of mind.
