Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: EJ Will Try To Make Amends With Johnny
We all know EJ’s getting shot soon. The soap has been building up to the moment this mystery person pulls the trigger.
Right now, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) thinks he can never forgive his father for raping Sami Brady (Allison Sweeny). The assault, of course, resulted in Johnny’s conception, which was the show’s most well-kept secret until late last week.
Spoilers for this week indicate that EJ desperately wants to make amends with his son. He approaches him to try to repair their relationship.
Johnny has many reasons to turn his back on his father. EJ may have ruined Johnny and Chanel DiMera’s (Raven Bowens) chances of adopting Sophia Choi’s (Rachel Boyd) and Tate Black’s (Leo Howard) baby.
Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) and Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) burst into the DiMera mansion, accusing EJ of kidnapping Gabi’s brother, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), and replacing him with the imposter from hell, Arnold Feniger (Galen Gering).
EJ swore to Johnny that he had nothing to do with holding Rafe hostage or enlisting Arnold to pose as Rafe. Johnny warned EJ that if he found out that EJ was lying, he’d never see him again.
Now that Johnny knows the shocking truth about what EJ did to his mother, it’s a safe bet he knows EJ is to blame for the Arnold Feniger debacle.
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Almost Everyone In Salem Wants EJ To Pay
When Johnny lashed out at EJ, he made it clear to him that he wanted no part of the corrupt DiMera legacy. He said he was also going to protect his child from him and his duplicity.
As if it wasn’t devastating enough to learn that he was the product of a heinous crime, Johnny discovered that his whole family had made a pact to bury this secret. Johnny believes his mother, Sami, wasn’t trying to protect him; she was trying to protect EJ.
After all, EJ and Sami married later on. Johnny can’t even look at EJ right now. Spoilers hint that Sami will soon return to Salem to offer Johnny support. How will he feel about Sami now that he’s aware that she concealed this massive secret and lied to him his whole life?
Meanwhile, almost everyone in Salem wants EJ to pay. Even Johnny could be a suspect in his father’s shooting. We predict that EJ will come close to dying or may end up in a coma, and that will put everything into perspective for Johnny.
Johnny may sit vigil by EJ’s bedside at the hospital and beg his father to wake up. He could decide he’s willing to forgive EJ and move forward if that means he makes it through this ordeal.
The question we have is, what happens when he pulls through? Will Johnny really be able to let go of his anger? Will he accept EJ for the deeply flawed and complicated man he is?
