Kate Middleton beat Meghan Markle for a prestigious offer from the most powerful woman in fashion. Editor-in-chief of Vogue, Anna Wintour, personally reached out to Kate Middleton. She asked her to appear on Vogue covers to highlight her role as a global fashion icon.
Kate Middleton Would Be Able To Choose Global Covers
The future Queen, recently told she was cancer-free, would be permitted to choose her photographer and determine fashion choices. Kate could decide whether she’s willing to give an interview.
Kate may also have the opportunity to give more insight into her cancer journey and tell her story to a select broad audience who may not have heard it before.
“The Princess has come a long way since her first cover,”
An inside source told the Mail On Sunday.
“She’s a global fashion icon, but she’s so much more.”
Kate could choose global Vogue covers, which include the UK and US versions. It should come as no surprise that the Princess of Wales is considered a positive role model.
On the other hand, Meghan Markle’s popularity has tanked in recent years. This is due to her embarrassing string of failures and disappointments and her husband, Prince Harry, ’s public annihilation of the royal family.
Behind the scenes, Meghan had a bitter fallout with the magazine. This was due to her demanding and dictatorial nature, which earned her the nickname “Duchess Difficult.”
This will not be the first time Princess Kate appears on the cover as she was the face of their 2016 issue, which celebrated the magazine’s milestone 100th Anniversary.
In 2019, Meghan was offered the cover when her popularity soared, but she instead chose to guest edit and feature other inspiring females.
Catherine Could Provide Readers With A Deep Message Of Hope
Kate’s brave cancer battle is probably the most inspiring story of the past year. Now, she’s entering 2025 in remission and vows to focus on her family and the essential things in life.
Princess Catherine stoically shared with the world that she had been suffering from an undisclosed form of cancer last March and has come full circle.
Meanwhile, Meghan is desperately trying to remain relevant and salvage the brand Sussex no matter how ridiculous and poorly thought out her ideas are.
Earlier this January, Kate made a memorable visit to Royal Marsden Hospital, where she had her treatments, to visit with fellow cancer patients and thank the staff and doctors who supported her through her cancer ordeal.
She empathized with the patients and reassured them there was a “light at the end of the tunnel.” Meghan has struggled to get her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, off the ground.
The magazine is thrilled at the prospect of working with Kate and possibly providing readers with a more profound message other than what to wear.
“Her brave battle against cancer while raising three young children in the public eye makes her a role model to millions,”
They added.
“Her story would be an inspiration to so many women, going through what she has gone through.”
Kate always looks stunning and elegant in her gowns, outfits and tiaras. She’s the perfect person to represent Vogue on the cover and inside the pages of the “fashion bible.”
