Coronation Street spoilers finds that it has been a dramatic five-years  for Lucy Fallon, but she announced on social media on Thursday evening that she had filmed her final scenes as Bethany Platt. It is still unknown how Bethany makes her exit from the soap, with many hoping for a happy exit after a troubled few years on the soap.

Fallon made the decision to leave the soap late last year, which added to the list of stars that have left the street over the past couple of months. Tristan Gemmill and Kym Marsh both left the soap at the end of 2019, while there are a number of other big departures on the horizon.

Coronation Street News: How Does Bethany Leave?

It has been another difficult 12 months in Weatherfield for Bethany, as she fell in love with Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) despite him being married to terminally ill Sinead Tinker (Katie McGlynn). The two shared a kill during a moment of weakness by Daniel, before they were spotted by his father.

He was dragged straight back to the house, where he eventually came clean about kissing Bethany. Sinead forgave him, but the rest of their family didn’t. Beth (Lisa George) made Bethany feel uncomfortable for her actions and even forced Daniel away, but the tensions appear to be thawing as Bethany and Daniel grow closer.

Coronation Street News: Bethany To Leave With Daniel

It has been reported that Bethany and Daniel could decide to leave together to get away from the cobbles that has caused them so much pain. However, Daniel seems unlikely to leave as he would be unwilling to take Bertie away from his family again. Instead, Daniel will offer to help Bethany fill out her application for a course in creative writing.

Bethany could be set to be accepted on this course, which would lead to her departure for better things ahead. It would also leave the door open to return in the future should Fallon opt to come back to the soap. Fans will have to watch on for the next month to see how she departs the soap.
