90 Day Fiancé Erika Owens & Stephanie Matto

90 Day Fiancé’s Erika Owens has been posting non-stop about her move to a new home after e-begging for money from her followers. Erika was involved with Stephanie Matto who would go on to become an infamous figure on 90 Day: The Single Life.

When together, Stephanie was known for treating Erika with little to no affection. This made fans question if the couple were ever real and used the show to promote both of their self-employed careers.

After Erika and Stephanie split, most watchers were fans of Erika until she began to e-beg online. Erika would create a milestone for 90 Day Fiancé for being a part of the first same-sex couple. Fans also felt sympathy for how Erika was treated by Stephanie. However, this would all change when those same fans looked at her Instagram.

After the breakup with Stephanie, Erika would move on to a new boyfriend. The couple were together for a total of 4 years. Everything seemed to be happy and good between the two online. However, after a tumultuous year of fighting art thieves over her jewelry and crafts business, Erika revealed the difficult breakup.

According to Erika, her breakup would leave her almost homeless. Erika had to move out of their shared house with very little money. She also had little to no renter’s history.

Combine this with a whole list of other issues and Erika recorded herself online in tears. She sobbed all while lip-syncing to a sad song. This already left a disingenuous taste in people’s mouths, but it got worse.

In the next few posts, Erika would post about her PayPal asking for her fans to donate money. Before this though, she would share in detail about her dog being unwell. This was to obviously guilt trip her audience further into donating more funds. Erika’s begging would go viral on sites like Reddit where people bashed her manipulation.

Since the breakup, Erika kept posting daily about her struggles moving on. She recorded herself packing up and preparing to leave for a new place. Throughout the process, she captions with paragraphs describing her depressive emotions. Erika’s followers responded with positive and encouraging messages. However, the financial problems haven’t stopped.

After settling into a new house, Erika posts a story about struggling to move a laser. This laser according to her is necessary for her business. Without it, she won’t be able to support herself.

She describes in her caption that the move has been one of the most financially challenging decisions she has made. She continues to talk negatively about her ex and how she felt blindsided by him.

At this time, it’s unclear whether Erika will start asking for more donations. However, considering how much she needs her laser for her business, she’ll need to get the funds somehow. If anything, Erika will probably be promoting her art business more aggressively to help with the large purchase.

According to Erika’s Glitter Buggin site where she sells her art and jewelry, the prices are extremely high. While this isn’t too much of a surprise for a small business, it’s kind of strange to see her begging for money in the past after seeing this.

Then again, this isn’t considering shipping and manufacturing costs. Now with the lack of creating more stock, she could be desperate for funds more than ever. The donations seemed to be enough to help her move, but how long for her to get back on her feet?
