‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers here and we’re ready to get the Christmas week off to a fast start.
The week of Monday, December 23 to Friday, December 27 is one of Christmas celebrations. There’s going to be plenty of the usual drama as well.
It’s Christmas time in Genoa City as Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) and Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) arrive at the Ranch.
They’ll interrupt Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) as they’re working without a mistletoe.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Weekly Spoilers Monday, December 23-Friday, December 27: Claire and Cole Arrive at the Ranch for Christmas; Diane Tries to Make Amends with Traci and Ashley
Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will toast to the holiday and overcoming obstacles. She’ll then seek to make amends with Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson).
That’ll be an interesting back and forth moment.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers love how people just know when to walk into a room.
It nearly always creates some kind of awkward moment or they gleam important information. In this case, Claire and Cole will interrupt Victor and Nikki doing their thing.
Claire will tease them about not being under a mistletoe and it’ll be the start of a fun day with family at the ranch.
It looks like Victor will even be in the festive mood when he give Cole a Christmas Miracle: his blessing.
Yep, Victor will be swept up in the season and tell Cole he won’t stand in his way with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).
We don’t buy Victor being nice at all. We’re ready for more of his machinations toward Cole and Claire in the coming weeks.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For the Week of Monday, December 23 to Friday, December 27: Diane makes amends
It’s been a rough year for the Abbotts, and Diane and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman)’s public fights didn’t help.
While their end goal and reasoning is understandable, it also reinforced some old prejudices.
Ashley never accepted her back into the family, while Traci was more forgiving. But after being burned in their scheme to counter Victor, they’re not going to be too happy.
We expect Traci will be okay and come around. It’s her nature and all, but it may even take her some time.
As for Ashley, that will be a harder sell but maybe Diane will get a Christmas miracle and they’ll be able to move forward as a family.
