Meghan Markle Becomes The CEO Of American Riviera Orchard As Harry & David Challenges Her Trademark Application

Meghan Markle was so excited about her new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, that back in March, she announced its arrival before it was even ready to launch.

Meghan Started Her ARO Launch By Giving Away Jars Of Jam To Her Influencer Friends

She sent jars of jam to her celebrity influencer friends but neglected to make sure the general public had a way to purchase it for themselves. It seemed like nothing more than a pretentious marketing strategy with no concrete plans to back it up.

Meghan recently decided to become the CEO of her business. This comes after a string of embarrassments related to the trademark application.

The Duchess of Sussex first tried to turn in documents with the US Patent and Trademark Office earlier this year, but the forms weren’t completed correctly.

The application wasn’t even signed, and she didn’t send enough money. Another company named “Royal Riviera” challenged her trademark application.

Harry and David claimed Meghan’s ARO name would trigger confusion with their big-seller, Royal Riviera Pears. Meghan’s launch was an epic failure.

She has proven herself to be not only disorganized but an inept businesswoman. Meghan wanted this brand to be a success, but she didn’t know the first thing about how to run a business.

An interesting article seen in the Daily Mail in October, and it was written by royal expert Richard Eden. He claimed that the failure of ARO could be his fault.

Royal Expert Richard Eden Explained The Reason For The Early Launch

Eden contacted Meghan’s office in March to inform them he was planning on running a piece on Meghan’s plans to launch a lifestyle brand.

“Meghan was apparently so desperate for the news not to appear in the Daily Mail that she immediately launched the Instagram page for her company, complete with a glitzy video,”

    Eden shared.

“Eight months later, the company still has not started selling any goods, and interest seems to be waning. A textbook example of how not to launch a business,”

    He explained.

Meghan Markle launched a website with nothing on it and a blank Instagram page. She hasn’t done anything with her brand for about nine, going on ten months.

She doesn’t work hard for anything and truly believes that people will be interested in her brand because the name Meghan Markle is attached to it.

There was no newsletter to correspond with her website, and we still don’t know why she wanted to have a lifestyle brand in the first place. Not to mention, none of her ideas are original.

Meghan has also been told she can’t have exclusive rights to American Riviera Orchard because the name is commonly used to describe the California coast.

Experts at the US government department spent weeks reviewing her papers and rejected the trademark application for various reasons.

Meghan Must Likely Change The Name Of ARO

One reason she was rejected was that her product offerings, such as gardening equipment and soap dispensers, were too broad and unclear. So, now Meghan has asked for more time to correct the application.

It seems increasingly likely that Meghan will have to change the name of her lifestyle brand. Harry & David is a beloved American institution established in 1934. Meghan haphazardly named her brand without researching to know another company had a similar name.

Meghan’s cooking show is coming up on Netflix, and she has ARO on all her jam labels and products. If she has to change the name, it’s time and money nobody wants to spend on her s**tty lifestyle brand.

She launched this brand without securing all the legal rights she needed to get off the ground. The show has no title or airdate announced.

Meghan may even need to scrap the show altogether. She likely filmed her cooking show early, and she looks completely incompetent. The only way Meghan can be successful in the lifestyle business is if she has the best products available. And she doesn’t.
