‘Days of Our Live’s (DOOL) spoilers have been tough on Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn)’s inability to remember he has children.
Ever since the real Abigail Deveraux (Marci Miller) was murdered, his children are often forgotten.
Sure, on camera he’s always praised for being such a great parent. But mostly, his kids are far down the pecking order of priorities.
Now that he’s found Fake Abigail, nee Marin Green (AnnaLynne McCord) and alleged sister of Mark Greene (Jonah Robinson), he almost made a huge mistake.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – Rushing into things
Chad has never been one to have patience as he gets fired up quickly and storms into a situation. More times than not, he’s had to apologize for his actions and he’s forgiven.
He’s one of the more flawed characters on the show and it’s led to ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers having a love/hate relationship with him.
His penchant for running in unchecked led him to “discover” that Clyde Weston (James Read) didn’t kill her.
It was a mystery no one believed since it came from Clyde, but when they found Abigail’s grave empty they became believers.
Now that he brought False Abigail home, he wanted to have her meet the kids and jog her memory.
Thankfully for the kids, she nixed that by not wanting to be overwhelmed by it all.
Her reasoning was sound, but there could be another reason for it. She knows she’s a fraud and doesn’t want to traumatize the children more than they’ve been.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – The better parent
While Marin has no actual ties to Chad’s children that we know of, it shows a side of her for protecting them.
They’re still dealing with the loss of their mother, and having her reintroduced just to be yanked away again is cruel.
While she knows she’s a fraud and that gives her an edge, Chad didn’t think ahead.
Like how his children would react to her being so different. Would they accept her, and so on.
He just wants her to be his Abigail no matter what and that’s the whole source of the problem.
He’s needed serious help since he lost her, but no one is willing to step up and push the issue.
So, he’s been a slave to his emotions ever since, and it doesn’t matter who he hurts most of the time.
He doesn’t intend for that to happen, but it does and it’s his responsibility.
We have no doubt things are going to get more interesting between the two as the storyline continues. We’re definitely interested in learning why Marin and Mark are targeting Chad.
Will Marin win Chad’s heart or will her conscience win out? Let us know in the comments below.
