Friday, July 5’s episode is going to be a fun one as Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) defends himself to Victor Newman (Eric Braden).
Victor doesn’t take well to betrayal, and he’s going to share his reservations with Kyle. Kyle will deny telling his dad anything and double down that he’s all in.
As Kyle tries to prove himself, Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) will share her concerns with her parents.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For Friday, July 5: Nick and Phyllis are shocked
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers are expecting more people to work through Victor’s mystery. The best part if it could be his son, and it’s thanks to Kyle being a doofus.
Speaking of Kyle, his working with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will surprise Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
They’ll have questions about how she got Glissade from Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). They’ll also be worried about him coming after Audra hard, and that’s Summer’s worry.
She’ll reiterate that Kyle’s making the worst decisions possible and is creating all sorts of chaos. Kinda like a spoiled brat who’s told he can’t have more cake, no?
Nick and Phyllis will try to help her, and Phyllis will ask if this is really about Kyle or Claire Grace (Hailey Erin).
That’ll set Summer off and she’ll take off, leaving her parents wondering what’s next.
We’re curious if Nick figures out what Victor is doing, how will he react? He’s already pledge his loyalty to Victor no matter what, but he’s a decent person and this affects his family.

As we expected, Victor’s going to want to know why Kyle told Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) about their relationship.
Kyle will deny it, and he’s not wrong for once, but he’ll also argue that he’s more than happy to go after his family. After all, they told him no and they deserve it.
He’ll promise Victor he’s onboard with everything and being co-CEO of Glissade is an opportunity of a lifetime.
At least he didn’t try to throw Audra under the bus. Yet.
We’re just curious when he realizes how dumb and childish he’s being will he try to tell his parents he was spying on Victor?
It may have worked last time, but this time he may have burned the bridge.
