‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers for January 8th, 2020 indicate that it looks like Uncle Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will be taking Theo Vanderway’s (Tyler Johnson) side. He doesn’t mean to be a complete nepotist but he just wants Theo to feel like a part of the family. Aw, Jack, don’t you know the risk you run of alienating the rest of the family when you do that? Apparently not because it won’t occur to you that this is just going to worsen the tension between Theo and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) all that much more. Kyle feels like Jack is undermining his authority as a co-CEO and is choosing sides. He thinks that he ought have a say in whether or not Theo’s idea for Jabot gets approval or not, he won’t appreciate the fact that Jack went in there and approved things all by his lonesome.
‘The Young and the Restless’ for January 8th: Abby gives Devon advice
Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will have some advice for Devon Hamilton for his current problem. It may involve Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) it may not, we’ll just have to wait and see. Either way, Abby will have some pretty solid advice for her friend.
‘The Young and the Restless’ for January 8th: Victor demands no more funny business out of Adam
Meanwhile Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will lay down the law to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and demand that he promise him that he is no longer in the troublemaking business. Adam is Adam and he won’t be able to promise that. However he doesn’t want a war and he also doesn’t want to blow his shot with Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) and he wants to give Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) the family he so desires so a promise to keep his inner bad boy to a minimum is pretty much all Victor will get.
‘The Young and the Restless’ for January 8th: Adam needs an attempted murder-free year
Victor will admire the effort put forth by his son, while he doesn’t always agree with everything Adam does, he can certainly relate to the fact that he’s willing to try for his family. This will definitely be another brick in the wall when it comes to patching up the whole father/son relationship that Adam had previously destroyed with Victor. Perhaps Adam’s New Years Resolution should be not attempting to murder his own Dad. I’m just saying, things might work out better for him that way. Stay tuned!!!
