‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Radioactive Mayor Endangers Salem!

Okay, there’s not a whole lot ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers can say about the current Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) storyline that’s positive, but they could at least have her develop super powers.

That’s how it works, right? When someone’s imbued with enough radiation that she could melt down a city they’re supposed to be able to fly, climb walls, turn invisible, or turn into large green monsters that go SMASH!

All kidding aside, this is just… yeah. It’s one of those storyline that makes taking it with tongue in cheek difficult.

There’s more than just a breakdown in the science involved, but also a whole lot of disbelief has been jettisoned due to the not very goofiness of it all.

The worst part about this is it’ll likely be used to launch a serious storyline where someone, probably Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) will have to deal with another cancer scare.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – She what?

Okay, just to quickly run through it all, Paulina ingested a radioactive dye that makes her too radioactive to be around people, yet the hospital uses infectious disease equipment and a plastic face shield, if anything, to protect their staff from the radiation.

Never mind that’s not even close to how the science works and is way out of the realm this show normally delves, because it’s just the beginning.

Paulina left the hospital on her own, commandeered a snowplow she wasn’t certified to use, plowed the bridge to State Island, risking severely damaging the bridge, and then exposing everyone near her to save her daughter.

We get the mama bear mentality, but seriously? And Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) was the only one to grasp what being exposed means.

And in this case, ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers have a feeling it’s going to affect Johnny more than anyone.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – Radioactive fallout

We hope we’re wrong, but given how rough the writing has been with the show’s replacement writers, there’s every chance being exposed will cause the cancer that cost Johnny his eye will return.

Given the panic around Paulina being so radioactive, hers should be too, but then she was cured by divine intervention.

If our guess is right and Johnny gets sick, it’ll cause more trauma for Paulina as she’ll bear the weight of her actions while watching Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) deal with losing her husband.

Jumping the shark doesn’t begin to explain this, but there’s a chance nothing will come of it and it’ll be one of those storylines that’s quickly forgotten and never mentioned again.

What kind of trouble will Paulina’s actions cause? Let us known in the comments below and check back with ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
