‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) may find that they have more in common than they thought. Instead of the happy reunion Lily had anticipated upon her return to Genoa City, she encountered treachery.
Although Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) acknowledged having a one-night affair with Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) while Lily was away, Lily was stung significantly more by the emotional infidelity.
Lily felt even more betrayed by Daniel’s statement that he still had feelings for Heather. Lily felt spent and disappointed when Daniel returned to Heather in spite of her attempts to help him mature.
In a similar vein, Nick struggled with Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) powerful attraction to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Even though Nick had helped Sally through her past heartbreaks, she eventually went back to Adam, which made Nick leave.

Nick and Lily are able to relate to one another’s hardships because they both put their hearts into relationships that were doomed to fail because of their partners’ unshakeable ties to their ex-lovers.
While Nick turned down Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) advances because he knew it would be pointless to pursue that romance again, he might be more open to trying something fresh with Lily.
There are rumors that Lily and Nick might have a spring fling to explore their mutual passion without the hassles of a committed relationship, as Lily sets out on a path of self-discovery. As Lily gets ready to show off her more daring side, viewers should expect unexpected changes in their relationship with Nick.
