‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) is hot on the trail since she feels something strange is happening to Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John).
Ashley isn’t going to be intimidated into doubting her own sanity by his attempts to downplay their Paris confrontation, where his violent outburst left her traumatized.
She enlists the help of her sister Traci Abbott, played by Beth Maitland, who is also determined to uncover the truth, and they travel to Paris together to face Tucker head-on.
It begs the question, what is wrong with Tucker McCall? Is Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) deceptive strategy on The Bold and the Beautiful the source of inspiration for The Young and the Restless?
Both soaps are CBS and we see a lot of crossover. Could they be taking out some ideas from there and bringing them to Genoa City?
There’s no shortage of speculation about Tucker’s mysterious actions. Is a tumor or some other enigmatic medical ailment a suitable scapegoat for his questionable behavior? Or is there a darker motive at work?
There are rumors circulating in Genoa City that someone may be pretending to be Tucker and planning a number of confusing plots.

This idea becomes more plausible in light of Tucker’s unpredictable business practices, violent outbursts, and bewildering personality changes. But it raises a new question: who is hiding behind the façade? Which cunning foe wants to destroy Ashley and the Abbott family by entangling her in their lies?
There are rumors that Tucker could have some kind of brain tumor, or something similar that is causing his change in behavior. However, we’ve seen that situation play out before and it’s a tired cliche. We would much rather see something with a little more substance be the culprit of his actions.
However, we have no idea what else it could be. There doesn’t seem to be much of a reason that someone would be paying him off or forcing him to act like that to Ashley.
