‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers here and we’re set to keep the ball rolling with some fun spoilery goodies to share for Wednesday, January 17.
Relationships are going to be tested in this episode as Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) shows she hasn’t changed one bit, and Lauren Fenmore (Tracy Bregman) will look to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) for a helping hand.
A few things have been building for these moments, so let’s grab some popcorn and settle in for some spoilers!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers – Phyllis does it again
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers haven’t believed a word Phyllis has uttered about changing and it looks like Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) will realize it and push Phyllis to the curb, but not before some serious damage is done.
Like any poisonous plant, Phyllis lures the unsuspecting fly in and then closes the trap, and the fly, Danny, won’t realize what she’s doing until it’s too late. But at least he will.
It’ll lead to an argument and he’ll hurry after Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell).
Christine won’t want any part of him until he figures out what he wants, and when Phyllis tries to further her agenda, he’ll inform her their relationship is over across the board.
We’re sure Phyllis will blame this on Cricket since it’s easy for her and she never faces any responsibility for her actions.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers – Needing help
Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) is going to have Lauren worried, so when Jack comes by and suspects Nikki’s drinking again, she’ll fill him in.
While Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will be doing his best, he’s not an addict and that’s the only type of person that can really understand what Nikki’s going through.
We expect Jack to step in to help because that’s the kind of person he is, but he’ll be wary of Victor since he won’t like anyone from outside the family butting in like that.
We doubt it’ll lead to another feud, but we do expect Victor to go on the warpath on anyone he feels the need to so he can make it through this.
“The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers – Words of advice
Victor still won’t be too happy about Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) wanting to help Claire Grace (Hayley Erin), but he’ll stand by her and offer her advice on how parents never stop worrying and they may spar slightly over what’s happening.
We expect Victoria will defend her decision as well as Claire, but we find it’s funny she has to be reminded what a parent goes through when she has other kids running around.
But this should be a good scene between the two as they seem to be patching things up.
