‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers document that playing games in business can put careers at risk. But being purposely deceptive with personal relationships endangers the heart.
Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) was attracted to Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) because he shrugged off his wife. Viewers recall the faulty logic he employed when deciding Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) would be reverting her name.
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) faked her death and later used Summer as a go-between to resurrect herself. Kyle’s experience with his mother also pretending to be murdered forced his emotional decision about Summer, though he seems incapable of squaring that.

Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) recognizes Audra’s intentions. He sees Kyle as the man she wants to marry and have a child with.
St. John’s character represents a means to an end. While she is grateful that he supercharged her career, Audra is not in love with Tucker and never was.
Audra followed Tucker’s scheme to include Kyle in a proposed Jabot takeover plan. But she did that because it meant being close to Kyle. However, exposing Mealor’s character to Tucker creates a conflict intersection where Audra could head in a different direction.

Kyle claims to be over Summer. Is that true, considering the length of time they’ve known each other and Lanier’s character being his deepest soul mate?
Summer’s current pursuit of Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) caught Kyle’s eye in recent weeks. She intends to fill Sharon Rosales’ (Sharon Case) slot now that Chance learned he is not part of her future.
The above gives Kyle a renewed option if he and Audra cut their connection or she dismisses him.
‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Summer Newman Not Standing Still
She was devastated when Kyle impulsed into banishing her. That foolish choice was made because she was forced to cover for Phyllis’ criminal conundrum.
Viewers probably thought the plot was intentionally pushed to cause the split between Kyle and Summer. It was. But Kyle may recognize his mistake and seek to reconcile with Summer, assuming Audra is not a viable alternative in the new year.
Summer took Phyllis’ advice and will let Chance know she is interested. He was interested in a future with Sharon, but she might reconsider Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). Unless Audra believes she can trust Kyle, she may be forced to move on. All of that could mean Kyle is alone on Y&R.
