The return of Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) to town has been great. Longtime fans, especially those who long wanted a reunion with Christine Blair Williams (Lauralee Bell), are undoubtedly thrilled.
Phyllis pounced when she got wind of what was developing between Danny and The Bug. That derisive nickname for Christine reflects the difference between her and Sharon. Bell’s character has a clear upper hand over Phyllis at this point.
As devoted fans recall, Phyllis coupled with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) while he was married to Sharon. Beyond that amorality, they got together in the aftermath of Cassie Newman’s (Camryn Grimes) horrible death.
So, Phyllis realizes she has no pull with Danny, and Nick is not currently interested in her. Therefore, why not try to sabotage Sharon’s happiness?
‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers – Daniel Romalotti Sending Mixed Signals
In contrast to Phyllis’ me-first advice offered to Summer, Lanier’s character presented Daniel with logic. She asked him whether he had sent mixed signals to Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom).
Daniel denied doing so, but the audience knows that is not true. Along with daytime observers, Danny and Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) have picked up on Daniel’s vibe.
Graziadei’s character still cares for Heather. Their kiss on New Year’s Eve confirms their spark is not extinguished.
He still cares for Heather and has buried the guilt he felt when damaging their long-time relationship in Lisbon, Portugal. So, with Lily out of town, Daniel is entertaining the possibility of exploring renewal with Heather on Y&R.
