Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are facing a dilemma. With all the overexposure and the public turning against them, they must keep their brand fresh and relevant.

The Duchess of Sussex is reportedly “frustrated” over her and Harry’s “lack of progress.” Markle has allegedly told Harry to “step up” and that “things need to get better.”

    Meghan Teased “Exciting Projects”

At Variety’s Women of Power gala, Meghan said that she and Harry have some exciting projects coming up; however,  we have heard nothing so far.

Meghan Markle's desire to return to acting

The couple wants to focus on their Netflix deal, worth $100 million. The Duke and Duchess are said to be producing Carley Fortune’s novel, “Meet Me at the Lake” on Netflix.

Sources close to Harry and Meghan claim that the pair are “way behind” and nowhere near where they want to be regarding their projects or brand.

Meghan has sought help from a PR expert advising her to tread carefully when selecting upcoming projects.

Another PR expert, Mark Borkowski, says that

“Netflix hasn’t really worked. Spotify hasn’t really worked, and that is because the sort of content that they feel they want to produce, the platform doesn’t believe it has any value.”

The couple is looking for people interested in the projects they want to be involved with. Borowski continues,

“The trouble is, all this high-end stuff around the values they portray, it hasn’t delivered for them.”

Meghan has been working tirelessly behind the scenes to make deals and salvage what she can of what’s been left. She does most of the networking, which is very stressful for her.

Harry and Meghan Are “Fighting to Keep Their Brand Alive”

Harry and Meghan must understand their worth and consider how their projects can support others. A source close to the Sussexes says the couple is “fighting to keep their brand alive.”

Harry and Meghan should not do anything to compromise the health of their brand this year. Her advisor has warned Meghan that 2024 would not be the appropriate time to release a tell-all memoir.

Harry’s book, “Spare” caused much controversy and strife in the royal family. Harry and William have not been on speaking terms since the book hit the shelves.

Harrys book Spare did not make his relationship any better with his family

Omid Scobie’s book, “Endgame” was released amid a storm of controversy. Not to mention the scandals it created. The royal racist row will make it difficult for the royals to embrace them again.

People say that 2024 will be the “year of redemption” for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. They will need to pick and choose the projects that will be more positive for them.

Meghan is also ready to resurrect her blog, “The Tig,” which she launched in 2014 before meeting Harry.

The source also adds that Harry and Meghan must “go back to basics.” Meghan should focus on noncontroversial topics like beauty, fashion, lifestyle, and acting.

Harry should focus on the Invictus Games, not his past or problems with the royal family. Hopefully, if they stick to that plan, they will no longer attract such negative publicity.
