‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers here and we’re set for plenty more fun and games to come, and we’ve for plenty of spoilery goodies for Wednesday, January 3.

Relationships are the name of the game in this episode as there’s a victory lap, a cease fire, and some underhanded play at work.

Sounds like a fun time, so let’s grab some popcorn and settle in!

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers – Victory strut

Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) isn’t one to give up, and since she feels she’s close to landing Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) she’ll feel up for the upcoming fight.

Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) won’t do herself any favors when she crosses Phyllis’ path and taunts her for landing Danny the night before despite Phyllis’ best efforts.

It’ll be the typical back and forth we’re accustomed to between them as they won’t miss a beat and any new year’s resolutions to be kinder will be forgotten.

The battle lines have been drawn.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers – Clearing the air

It’s been a minute since Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) started falling for Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd), and after she’s done arguing with her mother about it, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will be waiting.

Even better is Sharon heard their conversation.

Summer will quickly try to diffuse the situation by telling Sharon she’s not going to do anything because she’s with Chance, and she may sabotage that good gesture by asking Sharon if she’s in love with him.

This has plenty of potential to go sideways in a hurry, but ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers think cooler heads will prevail. Eventually.

In the end, we have a feeling Chance will be the one on the hotseat, and he handles that position so well.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers – Caught in the middle

Well, this is a good old fashioned parent trap without the twin as Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) tries to work some magic and play matchmaker with her parents.

Lucy will be pretty clever, and only Danny will see it and he’ll be sure to inform Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) what he sees going on, and he may not be too kind to his son for letting himself get mixed up in this while he’s in a relationship.

Which relationship do you think has a chance at surviving? Let us know in the comments below and check back with ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
