‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal there has been serious trolling going on in Salem. Recent episodes have found both Kate DiMera (Lauren Koslow) and Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) having their fun with some of Salem’s residents. We’re seriously loving it. So, what’s been going to close out the year? Let’s take a look at a few highlights.
‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers: Kate for the win
Kate has seriously been a winner for us in recent weeks. Ever since we learned she knows of Stefano DiMera’s (Stephen Nichols) new face, she’s been on fire. The chemistry between her and Nichols is great, and we love the writing in their interactions. Of course, there are times where we wonder what Kate’s thinking. On Monday, December 30th, she seemed to as well. She was about two seconds from exposing Stefano when he reminded her of the consequences she’d face for her part in all this—namely losing the few family and friends she has left. She backed off, but not before she expertly played Hattie Adams (Deidre Hall).
‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers: The real brains
It seems Stefano better be glad he’s got Kate on his side. He’s made a few questionable choices in recent episodes that put his secret at risk. Luckily, Kate was there to stop him from exposing himself to Hattie, thinking she’s Marlena Evans (Hall). She also didn’t miss a beat as she helped him cover for his appearance. Hattie believes he’s really Steve Johnson (Nichols), on assignment for the ISA. They play on Hattie’s fears by telling her a failure to keep quiet would land them all behind bars. Given Hattie’s awkward encounter with Roman Brady (Josh Taylor), we don’t know how long this secret will stay quiet. But it’s entertaining to watch.

‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers: God’s plan
Also super trolling recently is Kristen. We already knew she is lying to Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) about her interest in selling her DiMera shares. But she took it up a notch. In an awesome scene that shows how great this actress is at being bad, she totally plays Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) as well. Even though we know she’s not a nun anymore, and she has no intention of giving Gabi more power, she dresses the part when meeting with Chad. For now, she needs to string Gabi along. She gives Chad and Abigail Deveraux (Kate Mansi) all kinds of stuff about “God’s plan” and how she’s praying on what to do with the shares. Chad’s total confusion and frustration was awesome to witness. Perfectly played. Mansi did a great job with this as well. We are looking forward to when they learn the truth.
‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers: Looking ahead
As for how all this trolling will work out, we guess Hattie isn’t going to keep quiet long. She’s already got Roman beyond confused with her behavior and strange talk. Of course, given “Steve” shows up to the NYE party, we guess he gets impatient again. This will likely be a relief for Hattie.
As for our other super troller, we’re anticipating an epic revenge against Gabi, as well as DiMera being back in the hands of the blood DiMeras. Although, we do see a bit of conflict ahead when Chad learns she’s been hiding her true intentions from him. We also see Stefano not being long for Salem. As much of a Daddy’s Girl Kristen is, even she might have a hard time justifying the attempted murder of Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves). Get ready for some interesting times in 2020.
