TLC ‘Welcome to Plathville’ Spoilers: Welcome to Plathville New Season

As of today, TLC has not made the announcement if there will be a second season of ‘Welcome to Plathville’. Some fans adore the show, but there are others who cannot stand this family and refuse to watch a second season.

TLC ‘Welcome to Plathville’ Spoilers: What the Plath’s Think of Season Two

The show focused on the Plath parents, Kim and Barry, and how they raised their nine children. They live on a 55-acre farm in South Georgia and they are all homeschooled. They do not have access to computers, television, or other types of technology. In this first season, we got a big glimpse of how the family lives and what is expected of them.

There was more drama on this show than many people expected. For example, the daughter-in-law, Olivia, didn’t agree with many of the things that Kim taught her children. Olivia said that they need to be able to have opinions on going to school and watching television, but Kim said that Olivia needed to mind her own business! Olivia even spoke out about the editing of the show and how they make her look so bad.

Olivia had some problems with social media as well. She took some time away from social media because of the toxicity of it all. She even told fans that it was the Plath parents who pitched the show to TLC. She said that TLC didn’t want to make the show unless Ethan Plath and Olivia were part of it. They knew that some drama would start if these two were on the show. Olivia is not hoping for a second season.

Micah and Moriah Plath posted a picture on social media for the holidays and the caption said, “Y’all let’s hope for another season!! I have grown and matured since this last one. I’m just becoming the true Micah!” Who knows what the future will bring for the Plath’s, but we hope that we get to see them again and soon!
