There’s a whole lot of fun happening in Port Charles at the moment, and ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers are enjoying the different angles that are finally coming together as the Pikeman storyline looks to be heating up as it could be nearing its climax.
We don’t want to get ahead of ourselves since few shows are as good at drawing the storylines out past their breaking point, and with the possibility of the old writers back writing the current episodes, anything is possible.
But there is a cool possibility we’re curious about, and it’s the homeless man that’s hanging out around Kelly’s.
He made him impression known when Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) took him some warm food and then told Mr. Brennan (Charles Mesure) he’s always hanging around, but could the homeless man be there for a reason?
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – For protection?
While this was the first time we officially saw the homeless man outside Kelly’s his interaction with Carly opened the door for her and Mr. Brennan to get to talking a little.
Since Mr. Brennan has been revealed as Pikeman, most likely he’s looking to use her as leverage against Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) if needed.
That’s what got us wondering of the homeless man is playing a larger role.
Since Carly said he’s outside a lot, ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers think it’s possible that he’s there to keep an eye on her, meaning he could be one of Sonny’s people she hasn’t seen before.
It’s a stretch since she knew just about everyone, but it’d make sense if there were some Sonny kept away from her so their presence wouldn’t alarm her.
If that’s the case, then it could lead to some fun altercations down the road as Brennan Pikeman and Carly get better acquainted.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – Could he be a plant?
Here’s where our above theory hits a snag as it’s possible the homeless man is working for Brennan as a spy or even a lookout to signal when it’s clear for him to stop in at Kelly’s when he’s not gathering information.
Given how much Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), and Carly have talked out there, it’s possible he was off to the side since the homeless are often ignored.
The fact Brennan gave Carly money to give to the man also has us wondering since that could’ve been a payoff for a job well done and Carly was the intermediary.
There are so many possibilities here we’re stoked to see how it all works out.
