Sister Wives star Kody Brown has never been on the same page with his sons. During the latest episode of the show, he got very upset when opening up more about Gabriel Brown and Garrison Brown. Kody shares his sons with Janelle Brown, who announced that she was leaving him and their marriage.
In this episode, Kody actually wanted to see his daughter, Savanah Brown and try and keep their connection. Janelle told the cameras, “Kody has been making an effort with Savanah, he takes her out to dinner every couple of weeks.
He is seeing her more frequently than he was at the beginning of the year, for sure.” Even though he and Savanah are on great terms, there is still some tension about his sons that needs to be addressed.
Sister Wives: How Does Kody Feel About His Sons?
As much as Kody is trying to be a good father to his daughters, his sons have never really come first. During the pandemic, they were all at odds with Kody because of the rules he put in place for them.
When Janelle finally decided that she had had too much, she and Kody got into a huge fight about his relationship with his sons. She felt that he never put them first and that she couldn’t be with him if he was estranged from his sons.
Kody told the cameras, “My relationship with Savanah is sweet. Gentle. But I haven’t been in touch with my Gabriel or Garrison in quite a while. I’m pretty sad that I’m not close anymore. There were just so many things in our lives that were rich together. I think and hope that in time we’ll just get over this. And it will be safe being back around each other. Right now there’s not really an open door with Gabe and Garrison. They’re not really willing to engage with me.”
Sister Wives: The Family Grows Further Apart
As soon as Christine Brown announced that she and Kody were splitting up, fans of Sister Wives were shocked. Christine and Kody were married for 25 years and she felt as if she hadn’t been happy in years.
It turns out the only wife that has been happy in her marriage is Robyn Brown. Meri Brown also left Kody and these three women are living their best lives without him around.
Kody’s sons have fully blocked all contact with their father and it doesn’t surprise many fans whatsoever. As fans have watched this season, there has been a lot of tension and it looks as if that will not end anytime soon.
