‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers indicate that it is over for Nick Newman (Joshua) Morrow and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). While Nick has yet to find out that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Sally Spectra slept together, he can tell that they have reconnected more. He can see he was right to call it quits. Can he keep that stance when and if Adam disappoints Sally?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Third Wheel
Nick has felt like a third wheel for a while now. In fact, he got together with Sally in the first place when she was rebounding from Adam. When they started dating, she even slept with Adam one more time.
While that was the last time, she got pregnant. She didn’t know who the father was. This was a sticky issue. Nick didn’t bail when he found out that he was not the father. While that was admirable, it would probably have been a better move.
Nick has stayed with Sally through the loss of the baby but Sally’s feelings for Adam never completely disappeared. This came to a head when Adam made the determination to try to turn over a new leaf. Sally found herself attracted to this new and improved version of Adam and this made her conflicted.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Make a Decision
When Nick was out of town working on a project for Kirsten Incorporated, Adam and Sally had dinner together. They ended up kissing and that stirred up a lot of feelings for Y&R’s Sally. She confessed that to Nick, and it bothered him. He could tell that she was dealing with unresolved feelings.
Nick breaks things off with Sally and it is surprising to her. Nick believes she needs to make a decision about who and what she wants. Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) thinks that Sally is crazy because Nick is kind, dependable and stable. Adam has been volatile and nothing but trouble for Sally. Chloe believes that Adam will hurt Sally again.
Y&R’s Sally and Adam slept together. She hasn’t admitted this to Nick, but he can tell they have grown closer because Adam told them about the family problems with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Sally also defends Adam, which Nick can tell means something.
Nick appears to feel affirmed in his decision to break things off with Sally. It is obvious that he thinks he made a good choice. But, when Adam hurts Sally and breaks her heart again, will Nick be able to keep from coming to her rescue? Will he be able to take care of himself and his emotional health for once? What do you think?
