It has been revealed that Meghan Markle had royal connections before she met Prince Harry. Years before meeting her future husband, she knew and befriended at least six people linked to the royals.
Meghan was pals with one of Prince Harry’s friends, who was connected to Princess Eugenie. She also knew a reality star who was closely associated with Pippa Middleton.
Meghan Markle and Six Degrees of Separation
Meghan met Misha Nonoo at an art show in Miami, and the two of them hit it off. Meghan’s friendship with Nonoo gave her some favor in the fashion world. This friendship also helped her get closer to her goal of marrying a royal.
When Meghan met her, Misha was espoused to her now ex-husband, Alexander Gilkes, who also was a student at Eton College with Prince Harry and Prince William. Misha is also close friends with Princess Eugenie.
Misha’s ex-husband is currently spoken for to tennis pro Maria Sharapova. She is familiar with the royal family and was welcomed to the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton in 2011.
Alexander’s younger sibling dated Pippa Middleton for years. While dating, he was welcomed to sail on the yacht owned by the Middleton family. They participated in the river display throughout the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee festivities in 2012.
When the Duchess was still living in Toronto, she considered Jessica Mulroney her best friend. Mulroney played a significant role in Megxit.
Jessica is now married to Ben Mulroney, and her father-in-law hosted William and Kate during their visit to Ottawa in the 90s.
Jessica’s father-in-law and his wife also accommodated the now-deceased Queen in Vancouver at the Commonwealth meetings throughout her excursion through Canada in 1987. Apparently, they knew the Queen well and “met with her often.”
Life as a “Princess”
Meghan and Jessica have since been estranged, as Jessica has run into some difficulties after being suspected of using her white privilege to threaten a black influencer.

PR guru Isabel May was rumored to be the one to set up the Duke and Duchess. She also had a close connection with David and Victoria Beckham, whom she introduced to Meghan officially.

Violet von Westenholz, the daughter of an Olympic ice skater, Baron Piers von Westenholz, is a personal acquaintance of King Charles.
Violet’s mother, Jane von Westenholz, had been a long-time acquaintance of the Queen. Violet has also been friends with Harry since they were in their teens.
Even when Oprah interviewed Markle in 2021, Meghan said that she knew Princess Eugenie before she knew Prince Harry, which made her feel comfortable.
