‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers were happy to see EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) and Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker)’s wedding go off without too much of a hitch aside from hesitation over a possible contraction.
Of course, this is Salem and something was bound to happen, and when it did it was pretty glorious.
EJ has roughly ten seconds to relax and enjoy wedded bliss before Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barish) and Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) came in with their wedding surprise by firing EJ.
Yep, they got the votes they wanted and needed to tip the scale of power in their favor and EJ’s out on his backside. For the moment at least.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: New ruthlessness
‘Days of Our Lives’ are curious what brought about this new ruthlessness in Stefan and Gabi. It really seemed to happen overnight while they were chatting, but it’s a fun ride so we’re not complaining.
Of course, EJ will have something to say, especially when Stefan waves Li Shin (Remington Hoffman)’s votes in his face. This will start a war as EJ will want to go on the attack and things will go south from there.
We expect things to get out of hand and Nicole will leave the mansion for one reason or another and we doubt she’ll be in condition to drive.
If the sudden stress will cause her to go into labor, we have a hard time thinking no one will notice or offer to help her.
Of course, she could slink out horrified at EJ losing his mind, and she may not be having contractions yet. She’ll just want to get away from him when he’s like that, especially after their talk about how she hates when he goes into revenge mode and ignores her.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Setting the stage
This could be why she’s on the road when she gets into an accident with we’re guessing Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) since he’ll be there, and the accident will be what sets her into labor and he’s going to be the lucky one to deliver it.
If we’re right, this would be a great cliffhanger and send us into the weekend wondering what’s coming Monday and how he’ll be tied up with handing the baby over so it finds its way to Sloan Peterson (Jessica Serfaty).
EJ won’t be too far behind once he realizes Nicole left, and when he finds her he’ll want to know where their baby is and we’re off on another baby swap/steal storyline.
