‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicates that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) may have already taken things too far. Apparently, he feels that he can’t trust his children and decided that he needs to put them to a test.
He thought that pretending to be senile would put them in a position where they may need to challenge his leadership in the company. He wants to see who will be true to him. But has he inadvertently created a huge mess with his deception?

Things seemed to be going well at Newman Enterprises. The company was thriving. While there were hiccups along the way with Victor’s acquisitions, like McCall Unlimited, Newman has been on a successful path with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) at the helm.
Suddenly Victor decided that he could not trust his children. He decided to put them to the test and see if any of them would act to oust him from Newman. Victor recently demoted Victoria, putting her in the position of COO. He took the helm again as CEO of the company.
He has been dropping hints that he is forgetting things and making illogical moves. All the children are concerned about him. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) figured out that his father was up to something though.
He confronted him and found out the truth. Victor is hatching some plan to see if Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) or Victoria will be disloyal to him and the company.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Making a Monster?
Nick figured out Victor’s plan and is none too happy about it. He does believe that Adam should never be trusted and lays most of the drama at Adam’s feet.
Nick does care about his sister and does not believe that she would do anything to hurt the company. Nick has decided that he must let his sister know that his father is playing a wicked game.
Victoria is shocked by this news. Is she going to be so hurt and disillusioned with the distrust that her father has for her that she will decide to do something that she normally never would? Did Victor create a massive problem with his own twisted plan?
Adam Newman still thinks something is wrong with his father and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) has suggested that the three siblings meet to decide how to handle Victor. Although Nick is still angry with Adam about destroying his relationship with Sally, will the three meet and decide that Victor needs to “pay” for this deception? Will they take a stand against their father?
