‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveals that Mamie Johnson (Veronica Redd) has made a surprising move. She has returned to Genoa City and has bought out Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) investment in Chancellor-Winters. She has a goal and a plan, but how is everyone going to react to this?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Making an Investment
Chancellor-Winters has had some struggles. They had planned to go with an IPO, needing to gain more support and investment. Starting that process did cause some problems. Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) did not believe the company should go public. He decided that he wanted to pull his part of the company out and go solo.
This was not really an option and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) tried to convince him to sell his part of the company to them. Then they could proceed with the IPO. He would not agree to that and decided to take them to court.
The lawsuit was causing a great deal of strife and division. Victor Newman approached Jill and told her that he would like to be a silent investor. If he invested, then there would be no need to go public. If they did not go public, then Devon would drop his suit and there would be reconciliation.
Surprisingly, Victor sold his shares to another person, and everyone has just found out that the investor is Aunt Mamie who says she is coming to “whip the family back into shape”. What does she have up her sleeves?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: A Rough Road
Aunt Mamie’s plan to “whip the family back into shape” is already meeting resistance. She mentioned hoping that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) can be wooed back to Chancellor-Winters from Newman Enterprises.
At that statement, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) looked amused, and Lily Winters looked horrified. Getting Nate back and Deon and Lily to get on board with it will be very difficult. They remember his betrayal.
Then, Jill Abbott herself arrived. Jill and Mamie have a feud that goes way back. Perhaps it is connected to John Abbott (Jonathan Stoddard). It will be very interesting to see what kind of influence Mamie will expect to have at Chancellor-Winters and how Jill will react to that influence. What do you think she is up to?
