‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are ready to kick off a new week and we’ve got plenty of popcorn on hand as things are going to start going sideways for a couple of characters and it won’t be pretty.
It’s always fun seeing how a plot blows up when someone is too greedy, lazy, or short sighted to realize what they’re doing until it’s too late.
With that all said, let’s get into some of the fun!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For September 25: Wanting a second chance
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) has been granted more than a few second chances in his life, and following kissing Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) he’s going to try for another one.
It’s only natural since he’s humbled now that he’d expect others to be more accepting, but with his history it’ll also come across like he’s running some kind of scam.
While what he and Sally had isn’t a scam and we don’t think that’s what he’s trying to do now, he will press her into giving them another go.
‘Young and the Restless’ doubt Sally will buy into it, but true to form he’ll slowly wear down her defenses and get her thinking about him more and more.
In many ways Adam’s like a weed in that he can find and exploit any crack, but we do love seeing him and Sally together so we’re torn on how we want to see this one go.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For September 25: Phyllis’ hand is forced
In yet another moment where Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) allows herself to be manipulated because of her short sightedness and greed, she’s going to be forced to transfer money from Jabot into Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson)’s account.
Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) will claim he’s trying to help Billy by setting him up to look like an embezzler.
Phyllis will try to get out of this like usual, but when Tucker refuses to pay her and demand a refund she’ll follow through with his request.
He’ll harass and threaten her to keep her motivated since she’s shown to be untrustworthy before, and in the end she will once again only have herself to blame.
Even worse than that, Billy is the only Abbott that still believes in her and isn’t holding a grudge. Way to go, Red.
We don’t think she could’ve dug herself into a worse situation if she’d tried, and now she’s going to have another swath of carnage in her wake. Maybe this will be the time she actually learns something.
Is Phyllis going to be redeemable to anyone after this? Let us know below and check back with ‘Young and the Restless’ for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
