In a video that was just removed from YouTube, Russell Brand made a joke about raping a lady, DailyMailOnline can exclusively reveal today. The actor, who firmly rejects allegations that he harmed women, was embroiled in scandal after the interview was also taken down from Soundcloud.
Brand, a comedian known for his biting, overtly sexualized, and shockingly obscene humor, said in 2013 that he was a “mundane bloke… from a single-parent family” who evolved into a “pretty comprehensive show-off.” He was chatting to Richard Herring on the Leicester Square Theatre Podcast.
However, Herring and the audience burst out in hysterics when the celebrity suddenly said: “Oh I’ve raped someone once’ and ‘killed her after.”

After The Times and Sunday Times published shocking allegations from women claiming rape, sexual assault, abuse, and predatory behavior, including one claimed victim who was a 16-year-old schoolgirl, the video and interview were removed from Mr. Herring’s YouTube page.
Police, Channel 4, and the BBC have all started investigations into the rape and sex assault incident. Throughout the night, more women came forward. A member of Brand’s production team has described how they were reportedly forced to introduce him to potential sex partners among the viewers of his shows.
Today In the aftermath of their joint investigation with Channel 4 which was published on Saturday, The Times and Sunday Times claimed a number of more women had come forward with unreported and unproven complaints regarding Brand’s behavior throughout the early 2000s.
The most recent charges, which the tabloid claims have not been examined but will now be “rigorously checked,” come after complaints from four women, one of whom alleges Brand raped her when they were dating for three months when she was 16 and still in school.
