‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are ready to close out the week in style, and it looks like we’re in for an interesting episode.
There’s a couple of things coming we didn’t expect, though one should have been pretty obvious given the way the Newmans operate.
Without further ado, let’s dig into the spoilers!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For September 1: Nikki plays favorites
No one can say Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) doesn’t protect her own as she’s going to show it once again when she discovers her COO is having a fling with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will learn that Nikki isn’t as business minded as Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) as Nikki will tell her why she dislikes her and then give her a chance to prove herself.
The only catch is Audra will have to stop seeing Kyle to give him and Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) a chance to reconcile.
There’s little to not chance of that happening, but Nikki won’t care. She’ll look at the dozen or so times she’s been married as proof of things eventually working out.
But while Audra says she doesn’t care for Kyle, could she have feelings for him?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For September 1: Truce at last
It looks like the hospitalities are over between Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), and it’s all thanks to Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) saving her life.
It’ll be a discussion the two have needed to have for some time, but it looks like they’re going to bury the hatchet and try to accept each other’s significant others.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For September 1: More alike than they want to admit
With this war over, it’s going to leave Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) in a strange position as he’ll question whether or not Jack’s waiting for him to screw up all of the time.
This will lead Billy into some strange areas in his mind, and he’ll end up commiserating with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) as she’ll understand how the world looks through his eyes.
It’ll be a good conversation, and it could lead to more interesting arrangements down the line between the two of them but ‘Young and the Restless’ are looking forward to this.
It seems whenever the writers need a bad guy they turn either Adam or Billy bad in a lazy and cheap attempt.
Especially after all of the work they’ve done over the last two years to improve themselves, and we sadly know they’ll fail because they’re meant to no matter what.
Is Nikki overstepping in her demands of Audra? Let us know below and check back with ‘Young and the Restless’ for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
