‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has had enough. He has been trying to get Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to be a part of the family for a long time, and Adam just keeps rejecting the opportunities he receives. Victor is finished with Adam, and Adam seems none too pleased.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Final Straw
Victor Newman says that family is first. In reality, what is most important to him is the business. Family is secondary to making savvy business decisions that bring in the profit.
Victor did really want Adam to join the family business, so he decided to give him McCall Incorporated to rehabilitate. He wanted Adam to be thankful and to “play ball” Victor’s way. Victor really wanted his son to listen to his advice and make decisions his way.
Adam began by making an arrangement with Sharon Newman Rosales (Sharon Case). She approached him and asked if he would partner with her, merging his company with Kirsten Incorporated which she inherited from Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby).
Adam was on board with it. Victor complicated matters by sending Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to watch over Adam. The gang of three did not do well.
Without consulting the other two, Adam made the play to merge their company with Newman Media. He thinks he should be the head of Newman Media because he was the one who built it up. This vindictive move finally concerns Victor enough that he decides Adam is not going to lead anything in the Newman realm.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Major Shuffle
Victor makes big announcements to the three and his word is law. He won’t give Sharon her company back, so she is planning to sue him. Will she be able to bring a case against him since she agreed to the McCall and Kirsten merger?
Victor is making Nikki Newman (Melody Scott Thomas) the CEO of Newman Media and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will be demoted to her COO.
Victor says Nick will return to Newman Enterprises as COO, in Nikki’s place. No mention is made at all of Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Adam is out on his behind. Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), CEO of Newman Enterprises knows nothing of any of this.
What do you think the fall out will be? Adam is really to go to war with his family? What will that look like? Will Sharon successfully take on Victor? How will Audra handle a demotion and what will Victoria say to all of this?
