‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers suggests that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is playing the role of the Trojan horse so well, that it is very difficult to tell if he is really pretending. Maybe he isn’t pretending anymore and has switched sides. What do you think?

As Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) started attacking her brother Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) over his marriage to Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), Jack and Diane realized that they needed a new tactic. While Ashley was the loudest voice against them, her new husband, Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) was right beside her.
Jack considers Tucker to be conniving and dishonest. He doesn’t trust him at all and is dismayed that his sister is involved with the con man. Jack believes that Tucker has some ulterior motives and is working out something to benefit himself behind the scenes.
As Ashley goes on the offensive, Diane comes up with an idea. She suggests that Bill act like he is in support of Ashley’s bid to oust Jack from Jabot. He should try to side with them and act as a spy. Once he gets them to believe that he supports them, then he can help Jack and Diane figure out the best way to thwart their plans.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Too Convincing
The thing is, Billy has turned out to be quite convincing in his role. Tucker and Ashley offered him Jack’s CEO position once they are able to take over the company. He agrees to this and in actuality, the offer may really interest him.
One of the people who would act as a moral compass for Billy was Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan). She has left town to help her son, Conner Newman (Judah Mackey). She always encouraged him to do the right thing. With her away, is Billy able to resist the temptation to do what he can to take the number one position?
When Jack and Billy argue in front of Tucker, things get heated. Tucker points out that Jack should watch his back because Billy is vying for his job. Jack still trusts Billy and believes this is all pretend. However, later, when Jack sends Billy a text to apologize, Billy deletes the message.
What is on Billy’s mind? Is he sick of Jack and Diane? Is he ready to take over Jabot himself? What do you think?
