The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers disclose that Christian J. LeBlanc, who plays the witty, spirited lawyer, Michael Baldwin, is celebrating a milestone birthday today. He is 65 years young!
Christian was born on August 25, 1958, in Fort Bragg, NC. His parents Andre Victor and Alice LeBlanc, had a sizable family, and Christian is the second oldest of eight children.
Eventually, the family moved to New Orleans, Louisiana, and he considered this vibrant, lively city his home.
Judging by his magnificent pictures on Instagram, his birthday was fabulous!
Milestone birthdays are important, and it looks like much of the cast on The Young & the Restless and The Bold & the Beautiful were helping Chrisitan celebrate his big day!

Christian is a fascinating individual worthy of a lavish celebration. He is an award-winning artist who is exceptionally talented and creative.
Christian has made many pictures from his children’s books, bringing his animal and human characters to life. His brilliant creations are all done in colored pencil.
He received his college education at Tulane University and majored in ancient history and pre-med. Christian was initially studying to become a doctor, but he ended up with a phenomenal acting career instead!
He was also briefly a substitute teacher in the Los Angeles school district. Before he could settle on a different career, a professional photographer spotted Christian and convinced him to give acting a try.
Christian’s first gig was a Barq’s root beer commercial. In 1983, he made his debut on daytime television, playing the role of Kirk McColl on As the World Turns. He got to work with Marisa Tomei and played on the soap until 1985.
He won little roles after that, such as the one he played on, “Cheers”. In 1988, he played Officer Junior Abernathy in the crime show “In the Heat of the Night.”

In 1991, Christian started his most famous role as a smarmy lawyer, Micheal Baldwin, on Y&R.
He was a villain who sexually harassed fellow lawyer Christine Blair. Before departing the role, he committed several awful crimes and was sent to jail.
He left in 1993 and had a four-year hiatus from The Young and The Restless.
He returned to the role in 1997, slowly but surely, they reformed Micheal’s character. The writers introduced Micheal’s family into the mix, and he began a real relationship with Lauren Fenmore.
Fans started to forgive Micheal for all his heinous deeds, and he became a popular front burner character. He has even won three Emmys playing the role.
He also got to go back to his roots, and in 2005, he went back to Oakdale (ATWT) to play his character, Micheal Baldwin, to assist in a custody suit between two characters.
In 2021, Christian was a featured actor on Maurice Benard’s State of Mind podcast, and he openly discussed being a gay actor, losing his brother to AIDS, and his relationship with his spouse, Sid Montz, whom he married in 1993.
This podcast was the first time Christian talked about being gay.
Christian fans and co-stars alike love him. He is truly a class act.
