‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicates that Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) are BOTH on to something new. Their adventure together was not fraught with success, but hopefully they will each experience positive new things.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Design Company Blues
Chloe and Sally had great dreams of opening a design business together. They came up with some interesting ideas and presented a complete pitch to Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) of Chancellor-Winters. She was really impressed and decided that she wanted to meet with them in person.
While they were preparing for their trip, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) interfered. He suggested to Jill that she would not benefit from hiring Sally. At this point Victor wanted to try to get Sally out of Genoa City.
She was in a relationship with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) while carrying his brother Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) baby.
Jill thought about Victor’s suggestion and ended up canceling her appointment to hear from Sally and Chloe. When Nick found out, he got Jill to agree to listen to the pitch after all.
While the contract with Chancellor-Winters is stalled, Nick also offers to support the company financially, but Sally refuses the help. She doesn’t want to mix business with her relationship.
Finally, Sally and Chloe secure a job for Chancellor-Winters by negotiating directly with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).
As their work is going well, Victor steps in again to mess everything up. He offers Sally a job and when he does, he arranges for a new design team to take Sally and Chloe’s place. He does this so Sally will be free to accept his offer.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Different Path
When Sally goes to accept the offer, Victor surprises her by saying that he changed his mind. He will no longer pursue a design division at Newman Enterprises. Sally is left without a job. The Chancellor-Winters job has been handed to another company. She has nothing.
Chloe never agreed to working for Victor but since their job at Chancellor-Winters was given to another designer, she too has nothing. But Chloe received a call from Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).
Since Chelsea needs to leave town with Conner Newman (Judah MacKey) for a while, she needs to hire someone who can be at Marchetti. Chelsea will still work remotely but needs someone to partner with. She offers the position to Chloe.
Sally is stuck without a job too. She will have to figure out what her next step will be. She has declined a job with Adam Newman. So what else might she do? What do you think?
