‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers suggest that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) really needs to let go of his need to get back at Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). If he could do that, it would help him both personally and professionally.

Adam has strong feelings about his father and all that he has put him through. He is tired of his father’s expectations and the way that his father makes demands. He always has to do things his father’s way.
For Victor’s part, he wants Adam to be part of the family. He wants him to join the family company and be a success. But the success always depends on Victor’s parameters and Adam can’t stand that.

Victor decides to acquire McCall Unlimited from Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). He will let Adam run the company under his watchful eye. He discovered that Adam was intent on using the new company to destroy Newman Media. Victor was opposed to this and gave Adam some new parameters.
If Adam wants to continue to run this company, he has to do so with guidelines. He has a few months to get it up and running. Victor has also told Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow) to help his brother and keep him from making any mistakes. Adam is being forced to work with his brother.
Sharon Newman Rosales (Sharon Case) also approached Adam and asked if he would merge his company with the company she acquired from Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby). The three of them plan to run their company together as a team.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Won’t Give It Up
Adam still has his eyes on Newman Media. Sharon has seen that he has designs on it and has told him that is unacceptable. Her company is only to be used for good and may not be used in a battle against Victor.
Adam also tries to blackmail Audra Charles (Zuleyka Charles) into convincing Victor and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) to agree to a merger between his company and Newman Media. He won’t let it go. Victor found out and blasted him for his actions.
