    ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers for August 16th reveal Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) gets a surprise. Meanwhile, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) has to swallow some pride, and we’re here for it. Plus, the Kiriakis family gets answers. Here’s what you need to know.

    ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers For August 16: Surprise?

    First, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal Dimitri Von Leuschner (Peter Porte) isn’t very bright. Giving Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) a ticket to Iceland was bad enough. But to actually engage in certain activities with Leo in the same room he and Gwen are sharing for their honeymoon is next level dumb.

    Or possibly trying to get caught out of some subconscious guilt. Okay, fine. It’s just he’s not thinking with the right part of his anatomy.

    Well, thanks to his short-sightedness (and Leo’s), Gwen discovers something on her honeymoon. Which, of course, is her walking in on the two as we saw last time. This episode will show us what happens next, and we’re assuming there will be a lot of fast talking to explain this to Gwen.

    Likely, Dimitri will try to say he wanted to surprise Gwen with Leo’s arrival, since they’re such good friends and they’ll no longer be sharing that room at the Salem Inn. She’ll most likely buy into whatever they tell her, because there’s no way the truth will get exposed this quickly.

    Elsewhere, Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) gets an apology from Chad. And it’s about time! He’s owed Alex one for a long time now, not just for what he recently did. Because let’s face it, Chad was as much of an intrusion on Alex’s relationship with Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) as Alex has been to her relationship with Chad.

    But at least there should finally be some resolution to this whole thing, now that Chad and Alex both understand the rules. We give Alex more slack for his behavior since he’d never had a real relationship before, whereas Chad has. He should have known better. Especially after seeing how Stephanie reacted to Alex’s phone stunt.

    ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers For August 16: Secrets?

    In other ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers, Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) attempts to discover what Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater) is hiding. We’re pretty sure it has something to do with what she witnessed in the mansion.

    However, this is Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) daughter. And we mean that in every sense of the word. She is definitely already emulating her mother, so who knows what she could possibly be up to. Or maybe get into in the future.

    ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers For August 16: Farewell

    Finally, Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) fate is revealed. The Kiriakis family will learn the Titan jet crashed and Victor was lost, and we’re so not ready for this. We’ll miss the character and the actor’s presence.
