‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicate that Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) is upset again with his mother, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). He wants her to do the right thing and if she won’t do it herself, he will try to look for a way to help her save his sister, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier).

Y&R’s Daniel Romalotti has been pretty angry at his mother. She is a selfish narcissist and that has not changed. She was upset at everyone and believed that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) was the cause for all of her failed relationships. She decided to fake her death and pin it all on Diane.
When she realized that she needed to disappear forever, she decided that she missed her children too much and would not be able to do that. So, she came back and let Summer know that she was still alive. Summer was so thankful to see her that she forgave her mother for hurting her with her fake death.
But Phyllis told Summer that she needed to keep her return a secret. This meant that Summer was aiding and abetting a criminal. It also effectively destroyed Summer’s marriage to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). Everything that Phyllis does is all about self-preservation.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: One Course
Phyllis tells Daniel that the D.A., Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) has made an offer to her. She has offered to let Summer off without any charges whatsoever if Phyllis will plead guilty to the charges and refuse any appeals. Daniel tells Phyllis she must do this immediately. She needs to save Summer. She needs to put her children first for once.
Phyllis balks at this, believing her attorney has a great case to prove her innocence. However, this self-defense plea is based on false testimony. But Phyllis says that she can get from under her charges and save Summer. But Daniel thinks that is ludicrous. His mother is being selfish as usual, and she needs come to grips with reality.
Daniel is going to take some kind of action to try to save his sister. What do you think he will do?
