Mama June: Family Crisis has focused a lot this season on the relationships between June Shannon and her daughters. They were all pretty much abandoned by June when she decided to pick drugs and alcohol over her children.

This family has been on reality television for decades and fans pretty much watched Alana Thompson grow up on TV. It hasn’t been easy for them at all, but they are sticking together to try and get through the hard times.

Mama June: The Sisters Open Up

Recently, the daughters of June all opened up about how they had to stick together when things looked bleak.

In fact, Lauryn Efird told her fans, “I think I only felt like that during my mom’s addiction because that was such a big part of our life being out there. So many emotions, so many things we were going through that at some point, I just felt like, can we just handle this on our own without it being blasted for millions to see?”

She went on to say, “I definitely feel like it brings us closer together because although we may not have been talking at the time, we still had to get a job done. You still had to film together at times and you would always bottle down these types of things and it would be like, okay, well I can’t say this because we’re filming right now.”

Then added Alana added, “We always, all three lean, on each other. When my mama was bad in her addiction, it was really only us three. So having us three is definitely very good because we know for a fact that ain’t nobody going to go run and spread our business with us three because literally, it’s just us three.”

The sisters feel that fans of the show see them all the way that they want to. They see them all over social media and the show, but these fans really don’t know all of what is going on in their lives. There are plenty of things that they have hidden because life has been pretty painful for them at times.

It turns out that they are so glad to have each other through all of these tough times. Now that Anna Cardwell is going through cancer treatments, the sisters need one another more than ever! Be sure to keep an eye on them and Mama June on WEtv.
