‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicate that Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) have a plan.
They have been trying to get Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) to drop Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) but nothing they have been doing has been working. Will this next plan work for them?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Thorn in Their Side
Y&R’s Ashley thinks that Diane is evil. She has seen the trouble Diane has caused. Ashley can’t believe that her brother has forgiven Diane and has fallen head over heels in love with her. He invited Diane to move in, has asked her to marry him, and has given her a significant role at Jabot.
Ashley has argued with her brother and has persisted that Diane is not who she claims to be. She wants Jack to get over this lady. She even tried to hook up with Tucker McCall to “bother’ her brother into a realization of what he is doing.
Ashley even considered trying to stage a coup and get Jack out of the role of CEO. Instead, Ashley and Tucker are planning to open their own business that will be in direct competition with Jabot.
Nothing seems to be working to get Jack to see the light, and nothing is helping to rid her family of Diane. Something else is needed.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: One More Option
Y&R’s Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) hates Diane. She even faked her own death with the help of Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) and was able to pin it on Diane. Diane was arrested and imprisoned until the news leaked that Phyllis was still alive.
Now Phyllis is in deep trouble for her scheme, but Tucker and Ashley plan to find a way out of trouble for her. If they succeed, she will be indebted to them. They want to use that to secure her help.
They know that she is more than ready to take down Diane, and they are willing to try anything else. Tucker suggests that they might even get Phyllis to focus on getting Jack’s attention away from Diane.
While Ashley is a little reticent because Phyllis is a loose cannon, Tucker is excited by the risky prospect. They both love a little excitement, and getting Phyllis to help them will definitely be exciting, even if it doesn’t work.
